A penny for your thoughts
I haven't written because, contrary to my own advice and knowledge, I don't walk away, I'm stuck...on the same merry-go-round....around and around...same old, same old.
I still keep falling in the same rabbit hole, still keep doing the same mistakes.
I don't open doors, I keep them well closed. I sometimes open tiny windows where I peek through and then just run back in.
Problem is every time I take a peek, there's nothing moving or exciting calling for me, so I stay, stuck, waiting.
Waiting for them, those god forsaken butterflies that will one day take me in there wings and fly me out of here. To a new and exciting adventure.
Until then, odds are I won't budge.

Rock in Rio 2012
The weekend started great and ended beautifully!
Friday I finally got to see Metallica live and they definitely did not disappoint! They started out with older tracks and then played the whole black album from end to beginning. The encore brought Fight Fire With Fire, One and Seek and Destroy, the last song played by these giants of heavy metal.
Saturday brought old school classics Limp Bizkit, The Offspring, Linkin Park and Smashing Pumpkins.
When Limp Bizkit started playing the crowd was already pretty compact for the first show of the evening, they started the fire with My Generation, rapping it up with Rollin.
The Offspring didn't let it fade, with old school classics like Staring at the Sun, Get a Job, Americana and Pretty Fly among others that drove the crowd crazy, singing at the top of their lungs.
With Linkin Park came the night's climax, in a intense hour and a half, the lyrics where sang in unison with the fans that knew by heart classics like Given Up, Somewhere I Belong, Numb, Breaking the Habit, Crawling, In The End, the list goes on and on. The crowd went wild and they justified the presence of over 80 thousand people.
The night ended with The Smashing Pumpkins, in a softer, less euphoric mode. I expected more from Billy Corgan, but the day was already won, no matter what came next.

Hank & Karen
Hank: Karen, I don’t get it. What do you want from me?
Karen: Something you can’t give me, something you’ve never been able to give me: Something to look forward to.
Hank: I’m sorry.
Karen: Don’t be, it’s not your fault. It’s mine, it’s always been mine…If you were going to have sex with someone, and you knew it was going to be the absolute last time, what do you think it would be like?
Hank: I think it would be incredibly sad.
Karen: Yeah, so do I…make me sad…

The wind
"You wind up in irons...
It's when you're pointing straight at the wind, and you can try and fight it but you are stuck
...even if we weren't going anywhere, it was still sailing"
